Maureen Riley, Founder

After spending years in Business and Publishing, Maureen decided to devote her time to her family and helping others create their own family. After years of struggling with her own fertility, she has first hand knowledge of the emotional and physical challenges involved in creating a family. Now a mother of three, she has an empathetic understanding to parenthood and the different journeys we all go through to become parents. She spent the last three years at one of the nation’s top egg donor and surrogate search firms, Maureen is inspired to open an agency devoted to Intended parents seeking remarkable donors. Maureen combines her expertise with trusted colleagues / partners/ resources in the fertility field to provide the highest level of service to her parents and donors.

Dr.Shiva Fate, M.D., M.S. , Physician Consultant

Dr. Shiva Fate is our Medical Consultant expert at Custom Fertility. She assisted intended parents and egg donors as a clinical consultant for several years and is now an assistant professor at Dominican University of California.

Dr. Shiva is highly devoted to egg donors’ journey being safe and

smooth. She is always available for our team to consult about any medical

questions or concerns that either intended parents or egg donors have.

We are grateful to have her professional expertise, and always enjoy

her great sense of humor and compassionate heart. She goes above

and beyond to help Custom Fertility function at the highest level of

integrity.

Dr. Fate has a Medical Doctorate from Azad Medical University and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California

April Montalvo, Business Development

April is the glue that holds us together! She has process down like no other, creating many of the systems that keep us organized; and at the same time keeping our focus on the ongoing development of our agency. April is a true multi-tasker in the best sense of the word. She is a valued member of our team and we couldn’t be luckier to have her with us!

Before coming to Custom Fertility, April spent over 8 yrs in the Navy as a Nuclear Mechanic before leaving to finish college and follow her dreams of becoming a mom and marine biologist. After working at the Virginia Aquarium, she again left to follow her heart with us. As a mom of three children ranging in age from twelve to fifteen, she now gets to help others create the families of their dreams.

When intended parents find a match with their donor, the joy on April’s face is contagious. Her generous, compassionate nature is a perfect fit for our field, where she celebrates parents’ journey’s right along with them.

April’s professional and personal interests in addition to family creation include marine biology, Buddhism, conservation, the environment, and cooking.
